Ahem....
Large in my case means a table of 100 Mb. Hardware is also a bit less than what you specify. Suppose the theory still holds for smaller tables on hardware with less firepower. I take it that "Corrigan and Gurry" is a book (the way you mention it, it is probably *the* book). I'll try to get hold of it.
