Very Intersting...
Is this what you get when you type "make" as the Oracle User?

SunOS 5.6

login: oracle
Password:
Last login: Wed Nov 11 14:13:28 from dhcp8-202 Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.6 Generic August 1997 y2k% make
make: Fatal error: No arguments to build y2k%

Do you have the following packages installed on your OS? SUNWsprot
SUNWxcu4t

Go ahead and add /usr/ucb in your path, but make sure it's at the end. I had a similiar situation, and that resolved it.

Good Luck,
Satar
