16-Bit SQL*Net connection to Oracle8?

Just curious if 16-Bit SQL*net can connect to an Oracle8 database?



We are trying to upgrade a project from Oracle 7.3.3 to Oracle 8.0.4 database
,but we use both 16-bit and 32-bit SQL*Net.



Suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.
