OK, I didn't exprime myself very clearly.

This is what we can read in Oracle8 Enterprise Edition - Getting started (Release 8.0.5 for Windows NT) :

    "The main benefit of using multiple Oracle home is that you can run multiple release of the same products concurrently. For example, you can test an 8.xx database patch, before you run your production database against it."

I didn't try it but guy's at tech.sup. told me that it work since 8.0.4 and that now, with this in perspective; there's now a real need for an OFA adaptation for NT.
