My experience of NT as a reliable, scaleable, server Operating System has been uniformly poor. It is interesting however that your experience differs, and as you say in your other post, perhaps the difference lies in the hardware used.

Of course, many of the criticisms of NT in it current incarnation appear to be very similar to those levelled at Unix only a few years ago compared to MVS etc, so I imagine NT will get there in the end.
