Hi,
Here are the steps you need to follow:-
4. INVOKE SERVER MANAGER ON DATABASE SERVER 5. CONNECT SYS/SYSPASSWORD AS SYSDBA STARTUP THE INSTANCE AND DATABASE 6. GRANT SYSDBA PRIVILEGE TO REMOTESYSDBAUSERSVRMGR> GRANT SYSDBA TO REMOTESYSDBAUSER;Statement processed. 7. VERIFY USING V$PWFILE_USERS VIEW TO MAKE SURE THAT THE REMOTESYSDBAUSER HAS NOW GOT DESIRED PRIVILEGES. 8. DISCONNECT 9. GO TO REMOTE CLIENT AND RETRY WHAT YOU WERE TRYING EARLIER. I AM PRETTY SURE THIS WILL WORK.. IF IN PROBLEM REFER : SERVER ADMINISTRATOR'S GUIDE. HOPE THIS HELPS, Manoj Jain
