Hi all

Got a production and development instance on the same machine .. did a restore on the development machine but when I wanted to start up the instance I got the following message

ERROR: ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-09243: smsget: error attaching to SGA OSD-04101: invalid SGA: SGA not initialized

Can Someone suggest what this errors message is all about and suggest how do I go about fixing it

Any help would be appreciated
