Nope. I've run 7.3.x on the same o/s without ever seeing this specific problem.

It sounds like a memory leakage problem - listener malloc'ing memory blocks and never freeing them. Maybe you should try the SNI Oracle Compotence Centre in Germany. There's a couple of good guys there that knows a lot about running Oracle on Reliant.

You can give an older listener version a bash - it should work AFAIK with the newer Oracle versions. Are you also sure that the binding and linking went thru OK? Maybe there was a hassle with one of the make files that included the wrong library or something (we've had that problem before).
