I am new to Oracle PL/SQL and am looking for the following:

  1. Do you have a very simple sample proecdure that I could use to show how a PL/SQL procedure can be submitted from a command line or shell script?
  2. Can PL/SQL execute non-Oracle commands like SQL*PLUS and if so, do you have a sample
  3. Does PL/SQL write to stderr and stdout, especially return codes?
  4. Can Oracle Forms 4.5 submit non-Oracle commands. If so do you have a sample ?
  5. Can SQL*Loader create tables as well as load into them and if so, do you have a sample?

Thanks for the help

Brian Miller
