Re: archive log question?

thanks for your help. I try the first one , it works. the second problem remains. I need to know the archive log destination directory from the Oracle system table/views. I try to query V$parameter and look for the "log_archive_dest" parameter , but its value is "%RDBMS73%\" which I need to know the actual path.
