Hi:

Two sources of help:

  1. Take a look at the TPC benchmarks on www.tpc.org. Last I saw, NT maxed out at 27k transactions/minute, while UNIX topped out at 102K tpm. Big difference....
  2. Take a look at the availability section of my home page. There's a discussion of NT's "unique challenges".
