The short answer is:

• Install the replication option on both servers
• Make sure both servers are configured properly (i.e. global_name = TRUE, etc.)
• Determine which schemas/tables will be replicated
• Determine if objects will be updateable or read-only
• Determine how often objects will be replicated.
• Determine which site is your master definition site.
• Setup surrogate sys and replication administrator
• Use Replication Manager or scripts to setup snapshot logs, refresh groups, etc.
• TEST

All told, not a simple process.
