Greetings,
how to run oracle server (NT) on static/fixed port (1521) for SQL*Net
connections? I was told that oracle server for NT do NOT support fixed
port connection between client and server, after establishing the
initial connections, a dynamically assigned port (>1024) is used. This
makes the router filtering difficult. Is there any configuration can be
done on oracle server for NT so that the server will always use 1521/tcp
port? Thanks for any help.
