When submitting jobs using Enterprise Manager 1.5.5 and the intelligent agent shipped with oracle 7.3.4.x, a file is created in the /tmp directory with every job submitted. This file has read permissions on world and actually has the password of the user you use to run the job free for all to see. -- We have discovered that it is no good setting the umask for the operating system user and that the permissions are 'hard coded' in the application!!!!!! Has anybody else seen this problem? is there a workaround. Oracle Support say that this will be fixed in release 8.1.4 and not backported.!!
