I run oracle 7.3.4 on hpux10.20. I have installed oracle's intelligent agent so openview can monitor the database.
Orignally i couldn't start oracle's snmp daemon so logged a call with oracle.
They advised a patch which i loaded and i have now started the snmp. Openview can now read the mib files and see the variables but when i do a query cannot see the values. The error message from openview is : no values returned for query.
Oracle are looking into this, but has anyone had any experience with this kind of set up.
