Senior Consultant

170 Systems is actively seeking to hire Senior Consultants to implement its imaging and workflow solutions. The Senior Consultant position is both challenging and rewarding as it is a true multi-discipline role with a high level of responsibility and opportunity to create substantial value for clients and 170 Systems. This role provides an opportunity to deliver a high quality solution that has consistently produced very satisfied customers.

Senior Consultants at 170 Systems are responsible for the delivery of the solution and for being the primary contact with the client. This responsibility requires the Senior Consultant to participate in or lead numerous activities including client management, systems integration, workflow analysis, and training.

In addition to direct client activities, consultants at 170 Systems take on various internal roles ranging from product development to recruiting based on interest and company needs. Many of these roles provide the opportunity for individuals to learn more about how to run a software business and how to create world class products.

Travel is certainly a component of the job but is kept to a minimum. Much of the work and client communication is done in our Cambridge office. This approach has proven to be highly successful.

Candidates for the Senior Consultant position should have the following:

A BA/BS (at a minimum) in computer science or a related field Two to five years of work experience Substantial experience working with the Oracle database. Experience with Oracle Applications and/or the Oracle development environment is a strong plus Strong communication skills Consulting experience and / or business experience is a plus Self-motivation (extremely important) Take strong pride in work and be zealous about quality Desire to work in fast growing, small company with really talented people
