I have an OCI program that was compiled and linked with AIX 4.1, Oracle
7.3.4. It works on AIX 4.2 and Oracle 8.0.3. It core dumps (takes several
minutes but it is still trying to log on when it bombs) on AIX 4.3, Oracle
8.0.5 on an SP machine. I figure it must be one of the following:
* incompatibility with the SP machine - needs some different libraries
linked
* an incompatibility between 7.3.4 and 8.0.5 but it works with 8.0.3
- an incompatiblity with AIX 4.3
The specific OCI function is olog.
