Data Gathering Service on Unix (8.05 install on HP-UX 10.20)

When I try to start the the data gathering service on Unix, using the
command "ORACLE_HOME/bin/vppcntl.sh start", I get a can not find error
on the file.


Then I try running the command "ORACLE_HOME/bin/vppcntl -start" and get
the error "The Oracle Data Gatherer is running... /usr/lib/dld.sl: Call
to mmap() failed - TEXT /u01/oracle/odg/lib/vpxodb.sl...
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Permission denied"
