Hi Rob,

We have recently looked into offering this service to our clients. We are running Oracle 7 on a Unix platform, and allowing users to access our database via ODBC on Windows based machines.

The basic software requirements are :
1) SQL*Net Client software (this is included on most of Oracle's

software CDs for Windows - such as Developer 2000). 2) ODBC Driver (available for free download from Oracle's web pages).

I have written a short document in MS Word describing the installation process in our environment. I will attach the document to this message. (please note, in ODBC installation step 2 - the files mentioned are those downloaded from the Oracle site).

I hope this is of some assistance,

Best regards,
