Re: Slow connect time

There is a bug in 7.3.2 which causes trace information to be written to a file in the otrace directory. As more and more connections are performed, the file gets larger, and the connections get progressively slower.

This may be causing your problem. I can dig up the work around if needed, or you can call Oracle support.
