Position: Oracle Financial Analyzer Expert- w/ P.M. & upgrade experience Location: Ottawa Duration: Long-Term Contract
Our favored, local-area client has an immediate requirement a senior information technology professional to perform the following project:
1)To upgrade our client's current installed versions of Oracle Financial Analyzer and Express Server to the most recent and appropriate versions of the application for our client's technical and business environment. (our client sees that these versions will be OFA 6.2 and Oracle Express 6.0, but the contractor will be requested to present a formal deliverable with a recommendation on the most appropriate version of the software);
2)To upgrade the current business functionality to incorporate actuals and forecasting; and
3)To increase the scale of deployment, if necessary, to the maximum number of users allowable under the current software licensing agreement with Oracle, consistent with our client's evolving organizational requirements.
Requirement:
is for the services of a Project Officer to support the Project Manager in the conduct and execution of the our client's second phase of its implementation of Oracle Financial Analyzer.
The general requirement is for an individual who will plan, organize and deliver the project deliverables in the areas of configuration management, change management, issues management, quality assurance, project communications and project reporting.
Project Officer Profile:
The project officer must have extensive project and Information Technology experience, especially in the areas of configuration management, change control and management, quality assurance and project management.
Strong knowledge of project life cycle and an implementation methodology and practices is required
Strong communication skills are required
The ability to plan, organize, and execute the works according to good project practice is required.
In addition, strong functional knowledge of the subject matter (budgeting, forecasting, and reporting) is preferred.
Bilingualism is preferred
Per-diem is commensurate with knowledge, accreditation and experience.
