Date format..

I use oracle report and I print the current date on the top of the report. With the format : Monday 24-august-1998..

Oracle report 3 is install in english and oracle 8.0.4 database is install in english also.
But we want the day's and month's names printed in french. e.g: Lundi 10-aout-1998.

Is there any way of function with oracle to do this.. with the NLS stuff..!?
Is it possible if we change the NLS language of the database.. ? If I change the nls language f the database.. can I get a couple of error or any difficulty after the change to run the application proprely.. ^

I guest I'll have to build it by myself..
