automated backup with

hi, i am using nt 4 and oracle 7.3 and i have a problem and to keep it short ... in order to mak an automated
backup, i have to use the backup tablespace assistent ... no problem ... but then when the backup has finished, it hasn´t finished (wait :/ ...) ... the lower left enterprise manager console window (history tab) tells, me that the user couldn´t be verified (or something like that, i have the german version installed, and can´t remember a word, that does match better :) ... what has to be done in order to make the backup complete ... the chicks at the oracle support hotline weren´t able to help ... please answer as soon as possible in this newsgroup ...

or maybe someone could explain the whole process of backup (right, lotta work, but eyh, would be cool ...) ...
