We too saw the documentation on DataBaseVerify and thought it would be great to validate our data files. Unfortunately, it detected some invalid row numbers. When I called OTS, I was told that there was a known limitation in the current version that reported the above errors when a datafile exceeded .5G. Fortunately, they had a new version which they sent immediately. However, it detected some corrupt pages. When I called to ask about these, I was told that they discourage the use of dbv (what a difference a day makes!) and that I should use analyze ... validate structure which is significantly slower.
