Seems like you don't have much Oracle experience, so you should have accepted the default database that the installer can create for you. You can change it to suit your needs at install time as well as post-install time. Oh, well.

Look in the docs at the CREATE DATABASE command. It ain't easy if you've never done this before, so read up first and plan properly. Get some training if this is for a production system (i.e. not just a test system at home), as you don't want to lose your job! :-)

If you are on Win95/NT, they offer more GUI-based tools for this sort of thing. I've only ever used this feature on *install* however, not post-install. Again, check the docs for details.
