Hi ...

I have developed a DEC C program to run on a Digital AlphaServer 4100 (DEC UNIX) which makes OCI calls. When run from the command prompt it executes just fine.

When launched from CRONTAB (root) it fails with the following message;

        ORA-01019 unable to allocate memory in the user side

Cause:The user side memory allocator returned an error.

Action:Increase the size of the process heap or switch to the old set of calls.

Any ideas on what this means ???

Thanks
