Trying to become a DBA ...

Hello,

I'm a young computer engineer and I've been working on Oracle General Ledger for 8 months. My job is to test programs that have been created by other persons and that will be intergrated into Oracle GL.

I've been working on Oracle GL itself but also on the system of the database, which pleases me. I'd like to go on and have a DBA career.

Could you give me some advices ?
What are the right things to do to get this job in a computer company. Can you give me your experiences
