newbie datatype question

Hi all,


I'm using Erwin to model with Oracle 8 (I have no access to Oracle 8 at
the moment).  What is the difference between the datatypes VARCHAR and
VARCHAR2?  Also, what datatype should I use for Logical or bit
(True/False)?
