I'm sure both will continue to be in demand in the next 5+ years. Im sure SQL server will continue to gain popularity as it reaches enterprise level in the next few(?) years.

I believe there are far more openings for Oracle programmers and DBA's at the moment, as well as Oracle salaries are probably higher, but you probably cant lose by choosing either one...
