I've read in an oracle book that after ALTER TABLESPACE ... BEGIN BACKUP
all the writes are "diverted from the datafiles to the SGA".



In another Oracle manual I read, that the DBWR continues writing to the
datafiles during the online-backup.



So, what is true?
