database server

Hello all,

I apologies if my question is too basic for this newsgroup, But I would really appreciate any help and advise you can offer me. I am running for few years a self written application to handle my jewelry manufacturing business.

Currently we are in the process of expanding the business and opening more branches that can not be connected with LAN.

My question is; Which kind of server you guys recommend to use that will allow dial up login and access the database system.

I am using clipper 5.2 with rtlink as a linker.

please advise!
