when you get a 3113, a trace file on your database server is generated. In this trace file you will (usually) find the statement that is causing the error. You should take the contents of these trace files and get them to support -- 3113 can be cause by many many things. It means the Oracle backend has 'gone away' in effect.

If you review your alert_$ORACLE_SID.log file, you'll see a message when this occurrs, this message will contain the location of the trace file. You can also find it by finding out what your user_dump_dest init.ora parameter is set to
