korn shell/export problem

I have a table that I am responsible for exporting twice weekly! This particular table is called FUNNY# (the name has been changed but the '#' sign is real).

When I run a Korn Shell script that invokes export in command-line mode, it comes back and says cannot find table FUNNY. The '#' sign is a comment in the Korn Shell, I presume that is is being interpreted as such.

How can I get command-line export from the script to read '#' as a '#'????

I realize I can create a Parmfile or change the table name, but I would rather do those when I know that there is no other way!

Thank you, in advance, for all your help!
