Oracle does provide manuals on their MetaLink Site, which requires a username/password ie. for people who buy support from Oracle corp. But to read manuals on the Internet would take a long time, I think. Better to get an Oracle Documentation CD, your friends might have a spare one. Nowadays the Oracle Documentation CD is also in HTML format.
