I use the brute force method. You are on NT, right? Shut the database down. Delete the entire C:\ORANT directory tree. Then go into the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE and delete the ORACLE key.

Another alternative, and perhaps a safer one, is to use the Oracle installer. It will allow you to uninstall everything except the installer itself.
