Moved 2 datawarehouses across from 7.3.3 to Oracle 8.0.4 on AIX. No problems. And partitioning our tables has greatly improved performance and maintenance.

Still, best check out the Oracle Technet CD and/or the Oracle TechWeb site and do a search for issues relating to your platform.
