SPX Listener Problems Under AIX

We're running an Oracle 7.3.4 SPX listener over a 7.3.2 database under AIX.4.1.5. Every now and then (seems to come in groups) the listener hangs for no apparent reason. Although this does not effect currently connected users it stops new users from connecting. The only way to free-up the listener is to kill the process and restart it. This only seems to affect the SPX listener (and hence SPX clients) and the separate IP listener is not effected.

I'd be grateful for any help or advice that anyone can give who has any experienced of this type of problem.

Thanks in advance for your help with this.
