Maybe this:

PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS

  1. ORA-1013 is Received by Queries in 7.3.3.3 when DCD is enabled.

Problem:

Long running queries receive ORA-1013 in 7.3.3.3 when Dead Connection Detection
enabled. Disabling DCD will resolve the problem.

Solution:

You are running to Bug430972 which is fixed in SQL*Net V.2.3.4

Workaround is to disable DCD. Another potential workaround is to keep the
DCD on, but to change the expiration time to take longer than the query takes.
