Gurus,

I am having a problem with Orphaned views w/Oracle 7.2.3

I need to combine two databases, that share five tables.

I am using export to get the data out.

I import System one, and drop the five tables (I want the tables from System two). Then import System two, everything is fine except for views that were created on import of System one for the five tables in question. They don't seem to have been dropped with the table drop.

I get an error (don't have it here, though) when accessing the view, about the view pointing to a non-existant table.

Any ideas? Can I get the create view commands from the export file, via the SHOW import option?
