ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded PROBLEM

Hi ,
I'm developing an Intranet Application : I have developed several input Forms and I Use Servlet-Jdbc_odbc connection to Oracle.
The problem is:

    After some time I use the forms I have this Error:

• ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded NB: I use a permanent connection in the servlet and when i have the error I restart the connection. ( so the connection will restarted many times!!)

I have read that I can increment the value of a variable: but I don't know the where I must
update this value..
