Initial Parameters

Question from a newbie to Oracle.

In the Instance Manager for Oracle 7.3 the value of log archive format is; log_archive_format = %%ORACLE_SID%%%S.%T

How can get this setup correctly in the InitSID.ora parameter file?

We are trying to install the Cheyenne Arcserver agent for Oracle and I cannot get this right.
