HI,

My users are want to share the oracle software. Oracle software is in machine 1.
Each user is having their own workstation.

My question is Can the user connect the oracle system without using telnet , How?

I have some idea to share the oracle by different m/c s.

(a)The oracle directory should be shared by the differnet machines
(b) each user mount the oracle share directory as NFS.

whehter the above are true ?

Since I am using IRIX 6.5, I don't know how to make the oracle directory to be
sharable. Since in other unix , I know using share command I can make the oracle
directory sharable. and also I can put the entry in /etc/dfs/dfstab.

But I don't know the equal commands in IRIX 6.5.

Can anyone help me ?

I appreciate if anyone help me in this regard. Received on Fri Jun 12 1998 - 12:10:18 CDT
