Hi,
I assume that you are working locally, in that case, if everything is installed correctly,
you need not enter any host string at all. If you connect to a server, you must define
an alias for the connection string (assuming you are working with SQL*Net, Version 2),
using the Easy Configuration program, and use this alias as a host string. Also, you may
try to put in Beq-Local for the host string.
