Alpha server

I see that Alpha servers come with up to fourteen processors, up to 56gb of RAM. I'd like to hear from anyone who has an Oracle-based production system on a large-ish Alpha server, say four processors and 2gb of RAM and upwards.

In particular, does your experience lead you to recommend such a configuration, have you ever added more processors and seen good improvement, and what kind of network traffic do you have, coming and going, into such a large box -- multiple 100mhz, gigabit???
