How do I change my Oracle default Date format to something like: DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS I try add the entry in my INITORCL.ORA file:

NLS_DATE_FORMAT = DD_MON_YYYY_HH24_MI_SS And restart the Oracle instance, still not able to change it. It seems to ingore it.

Appreciated if anyone can help me solve this problem. Thanks!
