Recently installed the Intelligent Agent on a hp-ux system. I want to use this for monitoring the database for errors and performance,
instead of firing off sql scripts every x minutes.

Although I have it working right now, it does take a lot of cpu time, even on a
empty database. There are two processes with take up processor time, the dbsnmp daemon, and a oracle<sid> process. About 15-20 %, while nothing
is going on.

I use the Oracle performance pack events.

System hp9000 model 712 ( small one)
HP-ux 10.20
Oracle 7.3.4, only one database on that system, and empty. OEM 1.5 Have anyone experience with IA and events? Any suggestions are welcom.
