Hi,

I downloaded the trial Oracle Developer 2000 software. I installed all the products, and set a password for the Security Server Manager, and know that you're supposed to use the user name oracle_security_service_admin. But I can't use any of the programs, because I missing something, a password, host string, SID. I'm frustrated and confused. I even have this 'Oracle A Beginner's Guide', but that's useless.

Any help just getting started would be most appreciated. All I want to do is make a little database, like an address book, and enter information, view it, etc. The most simple kind of stuff that any DB program can do without driving you crazy.

Thanks for any help.
