Problem with TRUNCATE in PL/SQL?

Oracle 7.1.5.2.3, OpenVMS Alpha 6.1, PL/SQL 2.1.5.2.0



Having problems TRUNCATING a table in another user's
schema.



TRUNCATE works fine in SQL*Plus.


Can use 'DELETE FROM...' in PL/SQL OK.


Owner of procedure has DELETE ANY TABLE



Any ideas, anybody?
