Hi,

I try to connect to an Oracle 8 DB using a Microsoft 32 Bits ODBC driver. First I set up an alias to this db (using sql net easy configuration), this alias works because I can connect to this db when I use sqlplus 3.3. Then I set up an ODBC alias to the sql net alias defined using microsoft odbc driver. But the connection does not work. I get an invalid TNS name error.

Did anyone succeed to connect to an Oracle 8 DB with a microsoft ODBC driver?

Please note that I do not want to use an Oracle ODBC driver.

Thanks for your help.
