I have only used Personal Oracle 7.1 before. I think the cause of the problem is the Personal Oracle software, being Personal maybe it can only support one Oracle user at one time. If there can be mutiple concurrent users why not use WorkGroup Server ? Personal Oracle does not have all the functions that WorkGroup Server has, for example, you cannot run the Intelligent Agent on Personal Oracle.
